Sacrifice & Glory

The title is a nod of appreciation to the women who wear such beautiful yet extremely uncomfortable shoes.  First sacrifice, then glory.  In terms of the painting, it is another example of using non-shiny paint to represent a very reflective (patent leather) surface.
